New Infusion Therapy Center
Opens at Joan Knechel Cancer Center


Infusion Therapy CenterThe Joan Knechel Infusion Center is now open and treating patients. The new state-of-the-art Infusion Therapy Center features five infusion chairs, its own pharmacy for managing medications, an isolation room for patients with communicable illnesses, four exam rooms and room to expand as needed. The Infusion Center is located on the third floor of the West Wing Medical Plaza Building, upstairs from the Joan Knechel Cancer Center Radiation Oncology Center.

Infusion Therapy is the process of administering chemotherapy, fluid, blood/ blood product, antibiotics or various other drug regimens directly into the bloodstream via intravenous access. Infusion Therapy Services is an outpatient facility that provides care for individuals requiring treatment of oncology, hematology and non-cancer-related diagnoses.

Our highly trained professional staff, including medical oncologists, hematologists and oncology/infusion therapy registered nurses, maintains close coordination and communication with your physician throughout the prescribed course of treatment to provide comprehensive care, including the following services:   MORE >

First to Earn National Accreditation in Northwest NJ

Sleep CenterThe Sleep Disorders Center at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center is the first in Northwest New Jersey to be awarded accreditation by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), according to Andre Sirgo, manager of Cardiopulmonary Services for HRMC.

AASM accreditation is recognized as the gold standard by which the medical community and the public can evaluate sleep medicine services. It serves as an indicator to patients and referring physicians that a facility is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care.   MORE >
