Joan Knechel Memorial Walk Keeps 100% of Proceeds Local for Cancer Treatment

Its hard to believe, but this fall will be the 8th annual installment of the Joan Knechel Memorial Walk (JKMW). On Sunday, October 17th, walkers will once again gather at scenic Mountain Lake in Liberty Township to take part in the 2.5 or 5 mile walk celebrating cancer survivors and recognizing all cancers that both strike both men and women. The JKMW has become a poignant and powerful tradition for many, and its important to note that 100% of ALL proceeds from the Joan Knechel Memorial Walk stay local to benefit the Joan Knechel Cancer Center at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center.
