Opening in Hackettstown this Fall is the new Siemens MAG NETOM Verio 3T MRI, bringing 3T field strength, 70 cm Open Bore and Tim (Total imaging matrix) together in one powerful system. The first of its kind in northern New Jersey, the Siemens 3T MRI has the largest new MRI opening (bore) available in the state.

TrueForm Design
The TrueForm magnet and gradient design fits the true form of the human body. This results in larger imaging volume compared to conventional designs, higher image quality in all body regions due to its innovative hardware technology as well as new application and processing features.

According to Clay Hinrichs M.D., a Board Certified radiologist who also holds a fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, From the patients perspective, the new 3T MRI will provide the following:

• Faster examinations with Parallel Imaging. Patients will spend less time in the MRI scanner, but with high confidence in the image quality
• Ultra-light weight Matrix coils for less discomfort compared to other MRI
• Feet-first positioning in addition to our wide 70 cm Open Bore enables easy examinations for claustrophobic and anxious patients.
