Gene and Donna Milton Named Honorary Chairs of HRMC Foundation's 20th Annual Cotillion

HACKETTSTOWN (May 12, 2009) Gene and Donna Milton have been named Honorary Chairs of the Hackettstown Regional Medical Center Foundation's 20th Annual Cotillion.  This popular, black-tie gala is slated for Saturday, November 14th at the Hanover Marriott Hotel in Whippany.  With over 400 guests expected to be in attendance, this year's theme will focus on the 20th anniversary of the event and the continued growth of medical services and programs offered at hospital.

Gene and Donna Milton joined Hackettstown Community Hospital (later renamed Hackettstown Regional Medical Center) in the summer of 1982.  Donna joined the staff of Robin's Nest, a day care center operated by the hospital; and Gene assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer of the hospital.  In 1985, Gene was promoted to President and CEO, a position he continues to hold today, twenty-four years later.  Donna became Director of Robins Nest in 1987 and continued in that role until the center closed in 1994.

During their time at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, the Miltons have been instrumental in the growth and development of the hospital.  At its peak, during Donna's tenure, Robin's Nest had grown to become a licensed facility that cared for 72 infants and toddlers.  Under Gene's leadership, the hospital has become one of the top financial performing healthcare institutions in New Jersey, as well as ranking among the best in quality care indicators within the state.  The Miltons reside in the Panther Valley section of Allamuchy and have one adult daughter, Dawna-gene, who is a graduate student at Centenary College.

We are delighted that Gene and Donna Milton are the Honorary Chairs for the 20th Annual HRMC Foundation Cotillion, said Maria DiGiovanni, Chairperson of the Foundation Cotillion Planning Committee.  I cant think of a more deserving couple, especially since they have been such an important part of HRMC for the past 27 years and the unique distinction of having attended each and every Cotillion.  It will truly be a memorable night!

Skylands Community Bank is the presenting sponsor this year.  The evening will include music, dining and dancing and a raffle drawing.  The Silent Auction will showcase a host of superb items such as unique sports memorabilia, collectible artwork, jewelry, furs and other great merchandise and gift certificates.

As the fundraising arm of Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, the Foundation raises money throughout the year for new technology, services and special building projects. Proceeds from this year's Cotillion will benefit the expansion of the Medical Center's Surgical Services Department, including the building out and equiping of a fourth operating room.

Everyone is welcome to attend. For Cotillion sponsorship, advertising and ticket  information, please call the Foundation office at (908) 850-6876.
